Our Story
We started Bureau to fill the operational gaps that we have seen drastically reduce the chances of launching or raising funds for startups and emerging businesses in which we worked.
While venture capitalists would love nothing more than a pre-seed company with several experienced entrepreneurs, the reality is that most businesses start with some knowledge and little budget to spend on key specialists (read: unsexy areas like tax and regulatory).
This then leads to two unfortunate situations - either founders build with blind spots and increased risk, or they are forced to settle for less than their original vision.
We want to give founders an alternative to turning to incubators or start up factories (or worse, consultants with no actual experience in building or running a small business), by bringing a comprehensive offering that resolves the most commonly overlooked operational areas and does not require you to part with a third of your equity or your entire year’s operating budget.

Our Philosophy
We have a strict no bulls**t policy. We deliver value, on time, without bloated bills.
We don't want you as a founder to "like and suscribe" (unless you really want to) - we want give you the freedom to focus on building the next big thing, without having to remember when your VAT return is due, the legality of researching certain psychedelics in California, or if you have run out of credit on your AWS build (and then what the heck to do about it).
We are the senior execs who 'do things' instead of creating more work, and the type of partners we wish we would have had when we created our first businesses.

Each of us have each at least 10 years of experience in our field, though some of us measure our years of experience in more interesting ways, remembering what working life was like without the Internet. We are technology advocates and enthusiasts which means we automate non value added tasks and unashamedly use artificial intelligence to increase our capacity and capabilities (instead of blindly assuming it’s either terrible or can replace human judgment).
Bureau's current Chairman is Miguel Neumann - an innovation specialist with 20+ years of experience and multiple exits.
